American Rescue Plan Funding for Non-Entitlement Cities: What You Need to Know

The California Department of Finance is finalizing their certification process and preparing to distribute over $1.2 billion in funding to 291 California non-entitlement cities. This webinar will provide information to these cities about how to get certified, when to expect funding, and answer general American Rescue Plan questions. 

Non-Entitlement Units of local government (NEUs) are typically serving populations of less than 50,000 under the American Rescue Plan. The U.S. Department of the Treasury has designated 291 non-entitlement cities in California. The list of California’s non-entitlement cities can be found here. Non-entitlement cities will receive Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund payments via the California Department of Finance.
