Policy Areas and Committees
City officials actively debate, shape, and steer Cal Cities’ policy-making process and advocacy efforts. Approximately 50 city officials serve on each of the Cal Cities’ seven policy committees, which meet up to four times annually — typically in January, March, June, and at the Annual Conference. Committee recommendations are forwarded to the board of directors for final review and approval.
Cal Cities is accepting applications for all seven policy committees now through October 13.
