Today's rapidly changing economic landscape can make it challenging for cities to manage their finances to ensure the well-being of their communities. Join fellow municipal finance officers in San Diego, Dec. 14-15, for market updates, peer learning, engaging keynotes, and more.

Designed for city officials and staff involved in fiscal planning, the Municipal Finance Institute connects municipal finance professionals with information and people crucial to the profession.

Registration and hotel information  

Registration for the full conference starts at $500 for city officials from any Cal Cities member city. Registration includes admission to all educational sessions, the Thursday lunch and reception, Friday breakfast and lunch, and access to all program materials. The deadline to register online is Wednesday, Nov. 29. After that, officials must register on-site. 

The 2023 Municipal Finance Institute will be at the San Diego Mission Bay Hotel. A limited number of hotel rooms are available at a reduced rate for conference attendees who register before Tuesday, Nov. 21. Discounted hotel rooms often sell out early, so advance registration is encouraged.
