Connect with fellow city officials and discover solutions for cities during Annual Conference and Expo department meetings

Jun 15, 2022

The League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo — scheduled for Sept. 7-9 in Long Beach — is more than just an opportunity to discover solutions to the challenging issues facing cities. It is also a chance to gain firsthand knowledge from other professionals located throughout the state. One of the largest gatherings of California city officials, the annual conference is the perfect moment to find — and borrow — practical and effective solutions from fellow city officials.

The easiest way to meet professionals in your field is by attending a Cal Cities department meeting. Departments are made up of city leaders in similar professions throughout California and provide access to tailored, cutting-edge professional development, as well as technical and advisory support through representation on Cal Cities' Board of Directors and policy committees.

During the annual conference, department members gather to discuss the issues they are facing, hear timely legislation updates, and brainstorm solutions for their work on unified department goals, setting the course for positive change within their communities.

Annual conference registration is required to attend Cal Cities department meetings. Find your department meeting and add it to your calendar.
