Napa County and Cities Pass TOT Measure for Housing

Feb 14, 2020
Rent and housing prices in Napa County have increased dramatically over the past decade, making it impossible for many people to live where they work. Five cities and the county came together to figure out a solution, and put a measure on the November 2018 ballot to raise the Transient Occupancy Tax on hotels. This unique regional partnership supported by local leaders and the people who live in Napa County will lead to a decrease in traffic, a cleaner environment, a larger labor pool for businesses, and most of all a better quality of life for workers.
