Help shape the 2023 Annual Conference and Expo program

Mar 15, 2023

The League of California Cities is looking for volunteers to help shape this year's Annual Conference and Expo. Volunteers will provide feedback on proposed educational sessions to ensure the programming meets the needs of Cal Cities members.

The annual conference is scheduled for Sept. 20-22 in Sacramento. The yearly conference brings together local officials and policy experts for three days of learning, sharing, and problem-solving.

Volunteers will receive an email in mid-April with a packet of session descriptions and a link to an online survey. They will have one week to complete the survey. Depending on how many changes are proposed to the submitted sessions, it takes between two and four hours to evaluate the session proposals and complete the survey.

Following the survey results, Cal Cities will select sessions and share member feedback with session organizers so they can tailor their panels based on member needs.

To participate, please email your name, title, and city with the subject line “Annual Conference 2023 — Proposal Review” to Associate Manager, Event Program, Kayla Boutros by Wednesday, April 12.
