Surf’s up for the 2022 Annual Conference and Expo at Long Beach; register by July 27 to snag the early bird special

Jun 1, 2022

Registration is now open for the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach. Last year’s annual conference drew more than 1,900 California city officials for three days of learning, inspiration, and sharing.

Scheduled for Sept. 7-9, the annual conference offers fresh ways for local officials to gain knowledge on the challenging issues facing cities and share perspectives with others in the field. Attendees can also visit the expo floor, which will be brimming with opportunities to engage with the companies and organizations that provide services to cities.

Keep an eye out in the Cal Cities Advocate in the coming weeks and months for more information about the 2022 Annual Conference and Expo.

Educational sessions

This year, Cal Cities received a cavalcade of educational session proposals, which were whittled down to the most important and engaging sessions by Cal Cities’ member-led selection committee. The 2022 annual conference will offer more than 40 educational sessions for city officials, including sessions on how to empower disadvantaged communities and respond to natural disasters, along with sessions on housing, pensions, and city finance.
