Help shape the 2027 City Leaders Summit program

Cal Cities is looking for volunteers to help shape next year's City Leaders Summit. Volunteers will provide feedback on proposed educational sessions to ensure that the programming meets the needs of Cal Cities members.

Scheduled for April 21-23 in Sacramento, the City Leaders Summit allows city leaders from across the state to participate in peer-to-peer discussions and in-depth sessions on evergreen and emerging issues.

Volunteers will receive an email in December with instructions for reviewing and scoring the session proposals. They will have approximately one week to evaluate the proposals and provide their feedback. After reviewing the survey results, the programming committee will select sessions and share member feedback with session organizers so that they can tailor the panel based on member needs.  

To participate, please email your name, title, and city with the subject line “City Leaders Summit — Proposal Review” to Event Program Manager Kayla Boutros by Friday, Nov. 13.
