NLC Accepting Leadership Applications for 2021

Apply to serve as an National League of Cities (NLC) Officer or Board Member, Committee or Council Chair or Vice Chair, or leader of a Constituency Group, as a way to bring your expertise to the service of cities, towns, and villages at the national level.

If you are applying for the NLC board of directors or second vice-president position and would like to request an endorsement from the League, the request form can be found here. For requests to be considered, they are due to the League by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Request forms can be sent to Pam Herrera at pherrera@cacities.org.

Learn more about the different leadership positions available. To be eligible to serve in a leadership position, the applicant must:
- Submit an application form electronically by Sept. 22, 2020 for any available position.
- Be from an NLC direct member city.
