Cities are eligible to apply for some of the new $500 million Homelessness Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) grants through the California Homelessness Coordinating and Financing Council. These block grants were authorized through the state budget and are designed to provide direct assistance to cities and counties to address the homelessness crisis.

Registration is free for League members. Non-member cities and others will be charged $100. Registration closes at noon on Aug. 22.
