Media Advisory: Aug. 13 Briefing Call to Cover Cities and Law Enforcement’s Objections to Proposed Cannabis Regulations on Delivery Services

Aug 11, 2018
The League of California Cities® will host a press briefing call with a panel of city officials and law enforcement officers who will discuss the Bureau of Cannabis Control’s (BCC) proposed regulations that overturn key provisions of Proposition 64. The proposed regulations would force the authorization of cannabis deliveries on local governments and establish an extremely shortened timeframe for municipalities to verify cannabis licenses for businesses.

The press call on Monday, Aug. 13 will be held in advance of the BCC’s second public hearing on the proposed regulations. The second hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 14 in Los Angeles at the Biltmore Hotel.
