Statement on the Withdrawal of Tax Fairness, Transparency and Accountability Act of 2018 from the November Ballot

The League of California Cities® released the following statement from Executive Director Carolyn Coleman on the withdrawal of the Tax Fairness, Transparency and Accountability Act of 2018 from the November ballot:
“The Tax Fairness, Transparency and Accountability Act of 2018 would have had disastrous impacts on the ability of local governments to fund essential services.
We appreciate the efforts of legislators and the Governor in taking the necessary steps to secure the removal of this harmful measure from the ballot."
