Don’t Miss Opportunity to Learn How to Use New CTC Online SB 1 Project List Submission Portal
Mar 22, 2018
Panelists will cover the new online submission tool and other SB 1 project list questions, including the fact that project lists can now only be adopted via resolution.
Register online by Friday, March 30.
Cities Can Now Only Adopt Project Lists Via Resolution
Annually cities and counties must adopt, via resolution, a list of projects they intend to fund through SB 1 in order to be eligible for funding in the upcoming fiscal year. Cities and counties can no longer adopt their project lists through their budgets. Project lists can only be adopted by passing a resolution.
Cities must upload their adopted project lists to the CTC via the new online tool. May 1 is the deadline to submit project lists for the upcoming fiscal year that begins on July 1.
CTC released a companion SB 1 Program Intake Tool Guide to help explain the uploading process. For more information and the CTC’s program submission guidelines, please visit the CTC website.
If you have specific questions regarding SB 1 project list submission, please contact Alicia Sequeira Smith at (916) 651-6143 or Laura Pennebaker at (916) 653-7121.
Resources Available in SB 1 Toolkit
The SB 1 toolkit includes documents that can be tailored to each city and a number of other resources. In addition to a sample resolution, the toolkit has a sample press release and social media posts cities can use to promote their SB 1-funded transportation projects, a sample op-ed, an FAQ and more.
