Join us for a Disaster Preparedness Roundtable Discussion Thursday, August 25. It is important for cities to be prepared for emergencies, which strike fast and have devastating consequences. Having plans in place to work with residents who have access to functional needs is a critical key to preparedness. Join your city colleagues from across California to discuss how we can best work with these populations before a disaster strikes.

Topics for discussion will include:

  • Sheltering Considerations
  • Evacuation and Transportation
  • Emergency Communications

The Roundtable discussion is driven by you and what topics you want to talk about. Let us know those topics here.

Roundtable Discussions are available as an exclusive member benefit and are open to Cal Cities member cities only. Discussions are member-driven and will not be recorded. For more information on Roundtable Discussions, please email Meghan McKelvey. For questions specific to registration, please contact Cal Cities’ Registrar, Megan Dunn.

Please see our event and meeting policies.
