Environmental Quality Issues Roundtable

October 19, 2021 11:00 AM

Environmental issues and their implications are some of the most pressing challenges that California cities are facing today. It’s critical that California cities face these issues together. Join us for an Environmental Quality Issues Roundtable Discussion on October 19 at 11 a.m. to discuss how these issues are impacting your city, learn best practices from other cities, and discover ways to address these problems together.

Discussion Moderated by: Derek Dolfie; Legislative Affairs, Lobbyist for Environmental Quality and Community Services; League of California Cities

Topics for discussion will include:

  • Organic Waste Regulation Implementation (SB 1383)
  • Climate Resiliency and Adaptation
  • Sea level rise/coastal issues
  • Disaster Preparedness and Response
  • Local green initiatives

Roundtable conversations are member-driven. If you have topics or questions you’d like to discuss at this roundtable, let us know here.

Roundtable Discussions are available as an exclusive member benefit and are open to Cal Cities member cities only. Discussions are member-driven and will not be recorded. For more information on Roundtable Discussions, please email Meghan McKelvey. For questions specific to registration, please contact Cal Cities’ Registrar, Megan Dunn.
