CEQA Exemptions for Potential Application in Disaster Recovery Efforts

The purpose of this technical advisory is to provide guidance to public agencies regarding exemptions under the California Environmental Quality Act (Pub. Resources Code, § 21000 et seq.) (CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines that may apply in the context of immediate-term post- disaster recovery efforts. This technical advisory is one in a series of advisories provided by OPR as a service to professional planners, land use officials, and CEQA practitioners.
