Planning commissioners, city planning directors, and associated staff are invited to attend four days of educational sessions and opportunities to connect with peers at the virtual 2021 Planning Commissioners Academy taking place March 25, 26, 31, and April 1.
This virtual academy is a must for new and seasoned planning commissioners alike, with sessions ranging from the basic roles and responsibilities to newer emerging issues.
What to expect at the Planning Commissioners Academy
Sessions delve into critical training on important topics taught by peers and subject matter experts on topics such as:
The academy runs 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25; 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday, March 26; 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31; and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday, April 1. View the most up-to-date conference schedule.
Can’t make a particular live session or a full day? We’ve got your covered.
In addition to access to all live sessions, session materials, and virtual networking opportunities, registering for the conference grants you access to all session recordings for later viewing for a limited time. The conference will take place via Zoom. A computer or laptop is recommended to best experience the sessions. A login and password will be provided to access the conference page the week of the conference and this is where links to all the sessions will be located.
