The City of Burbank Launches Campaign to Support Local Businesses and Show Acts of Kindness

Apr 16, 2020
Cities are recognizing and finding ways to keep their communities safe and boost morale while physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The city of Burbank came up with a campaign called Burbank Together at Home, encouraging the community to Be Supportive, Be Local, Be Active, Be Smart, and Be Kind. The City of Burbank website provides a list of businesses the community can access locally, helpful resources on how to be healthy and active, ways to demonstrate kindness, and creative activities families can do at home.

Residents can take part in the campaign by using the hashtag #BurbankTogetherAtHome when participating in a virtual workout, shopping online from a local retailer, or purchasing food to go from a local business -- which is often featured on the city's website and social media channels.
